Protect your time, energy, emotional well being
- Say assertively no to requests that do not align with your priorities, goals, values. Be direct, simple and polite. Respect other reactions.
- Know your limits, set clear boundaries
- When dealing with emotionally charged stories – f.e. from a friend stay grounded, compassionate but do not take on others emotions. Create imaginary buble around you. Visualize negative energy leaving your body.
